Rob my hat is off to you sir, for being the best the Bullfighter of all time. Not only being the best in your field, but for being a Christain Cowboy who is not ashamed of your belief in God. I repsect you for all the times I have watched you kneel down beside a hurt bullrider in the arena and place your hand on them and begin praying for them, and many of them get up and walk out of the arena. We have never met but maybe we will one day, Rob job well done my friend. God Bless you , D.L. Havard

Hey Rob. Im Ryno, the son of a retired PRCA bulldogger named Alan Oehlert. I met you one time I believe in Houston, Tx at a PBR. We are good friends with Tandy Freemen and Chuck Lambert who introduced me to everyone backstage when I was younger. You always been a hero of mine, not only because you are hands down the best bullfighter ever to step in a arena but also because you have the biggest heart. Ive never seen anyone hop in the middle of the action and take a hookin for someone like you. Anyways you saved many of cowboys and you are loved for that by many. Ide love to follow your steps in the sport. Much respect to you and appreciate all you've done. Your the man!

Hey Rob, It's been a longtime since we first met at your 1st. St. Paul, Ore.Rodeo.We had a few cold beverages afterward, talked a while and got to be good friends over the years. I have been to Rodeos and PBR events several times a year every year since you got into the business.Being a former Bull Rider myself, I really appreciate the great job you and your fellow Bull Fighters do to protect all us riders.I am proud of the work you did and for the relative healthy career you had. The Lord has really blessed you and is Greatful of what you do.Hope to see you soon and chew the fat and talk about some great times. May the Good Lord Bless You and your Family. All the Best.

Rob, We sure miss you at the PBR events, but recently got to see another side of you that really meant more. My husband is the ministry leader for a Celebrate Recovery group here in Belton. At the last PBR Outreach service we attended we picked up some "Live for the Cause" DVD's, we decided to show that as a testimony at our meeting one night. We were all very touched by your own testimony, it meant alot to our group and they request that DVD often. If you were ever in Missouri we would love to have you come and give a live testimony to a bunch of redneck recovering alcoholics, addicts and just general sinners trying to be better children to Our Lord. God Bless you and your family.

It was thirty years ago, blind date with a guy who wore make up and on top of that he was crazy in the area with bulls on all fours mocking the bulls and jumping over them! Glad to know you have a wonderful wife and family. I have wonderful memories of watching you perform, you did what most are afraid to do. You had more energy than all the cowboys put together in a night. You had a dream and it came true...to be the best! Take care of yourself and love ones!

Rob, If it weren't for you and Tuff Hedeman I wouldn't be a PBR fan today. I've been a fan since the mid 80's and my favorite players in any rodeo event have always been the bullfighters. I used to come home from church on sunday nights and watch NFR. I just wanted to say "Thank you", if it weren't for you I would be watching and enjoying this great sport today. All the best! Go with God Jeff

Dear Rob, I was so very touched by Ryan's letter and poem. It seems to me that he was truly an angel here on earth. I have been a rodeo fan since I was a little girl, and how I loved the bull riding. Still do. (I'm a grandmother!) My day job was being an elementary school teacher, so children are very near and dear to my heart. I have been all around your website, and you are indeed a man who is very blessed. And Ryan knew that. My best to you, Rob.

Rob, My son, Adem Palmer, is in the Middleton Prison Unit you just visited. He wrote me about how touched he was listening to you. He was baptized at the prison, and I can already tell his life is turning for the better by his letters. He wanted me to tell you he would really like to keep in touch with you. He is a good person and I am so proud you had an impact on his life. Thank you so very much. Hopefully he will be out in August and can email you then. God Bless You! Pam

I hope you have a verry safe trip everywhere you have to go this round. I know I tell you that each time you come to the store there in Merkel. It is a pleasure to have the ability to have met you, and continue to meet you whenever you are home. ((Carla, I hope some day to get to meet you if I already haven't. I feel terrible that I know more about people then I do their names. :( )) As someone "outside the fire", I've been interested in the game as it isn't a sport. It has never been a sport. It is a game. A game of life, death, gains, losses, breaks and sprains but Garth put it best in "Rodeo". With that said, it brought tears to my eyes reading your Guardian Angels' letter and poem. Children have the best way of wording things and as adults, we take for granted what is and what isn't possible. Some, do not ever get the chance to learn how to live and others never manage to get taught. Thanks again for all that you have done, do and what lies ahead. You truely are a "Genuine Cowboy". A semi quiet fan in Little Merkel Employment. Tanya -Chillerz 8

Hi Rob, We were at the PRB finale last night at the Sears Centre and were thrilled to find you there announcing. We're great PBR fans and saw you when you were at the Allstate Arena and still in a neck brace. We miss watching you bull fight and loved that little move last night near the barrel that you did LOL. We praise God that He is watching over you and blessing you in your new announcing career.

Hi Rob, When we switched from satellite to Comcast, I lost my favorite horse channel RFD. I started watching the PBR on "OLN" just to catch a glimpse of the horses.I became a huge fan of bullriding because of you. I tuned in every week to watch your death-defying moves. I hope to meet you at the PBC next week in Hoffman Estates, IL. It would be huge honor! Kelly Curran

Hey! It was great to see the bullriding today an yesterday at the Patriot Center. It brought me up close to something that I've only ever gotten to watch on tv, and put a new crazy idea in my head; I want to be a bullrider! (of course, my boyfriend and my mother both protest the idea, but whatever.) It was great to see how it worked and to actually recognize some of the things that happen on the televised tour. I can't wait till next year when you come back! Who knows, maybe I'll be on the tour! (probably not. I haven't seen a single girl doing bullriding, which means I'm going to have to do some major paperwork to get in to the series. But hey, a girl can dream can't she?!) Anyway, it was really great to see ya'll! May god be with you, Amy
