Hey Rob, I watch you all the time since I was little you are an awsome bullfighter. I know the riders appreciate what you do for them and I know that beccause I ride bulls myself and Ive been saved a few times by bullfighters and I really am glad. Im not riding right now because im in South Korea for the armed forces Im in the Army. I cant wait to get back on and I would also like to take a school of yours in bullfighting. maybey you can try and keep me posted on those things. Howdy ROB!!! it has been wonderfull watching you bull fight for years. my brothers are now bull fighters in playdays around our home. It was great to finally meet you in Kinder LA in late june !! I am currently working on a social studies fair project on the legandary Rob Smets. Thanks for Savin the tales of bull riders we all know and love!! with out great heros like you rodeo would not be what it is today!!!

I was at the PBR in Greensboro,NC last night and I sure miss seeing you there Rob. After reading the nice letter from Ryan Battistoni this cowboy had tears in his eye's.I hope my Guardian Angel is as brave as yours is, Rob. From your fans here in North Carolina, we love you man.

Howdy Rob, I just wanted to give a great BIG THANK YOU for being here in Anchorage and getting your autograph was awesome and then all the cowboys at the after party, that was also great. Eveyone one was great! Couldn't ask for a better bunch of guys. Memories Having PBR here in Anchorage was the biggest event to happen, I was there all three days, this is something I will never forget. Watched you at the Anchorage PBR 3 Day Event, you were quite an inspiration. Not only were you friendly and funny but your faith shined through in all that you did. Thanks to you and the PBR for that wonderful event and hopefully we'll see it back again next year. It was awesome!

Thank you for a wonderful show here in Anchorage. It was a highlight I won't forget. Thanks also for the autograph. It means a lot. One last note, don't forget the US Coast Guard when listing those who protect our country. They are guarding our borders and watching over those at sea.

I have a picture of you from 3 years ago I was actually taking a picture of a bull that were you're fighting that day either up in Pueblo or ColoradoSprings. I would to have a poster of you. Hey Rob, I have been a bullfighter now for 4 years and i got to do my first fight with the PBR! I fought the junior bulls at the belton,tx discovery tour event with Blue jean and mark bennett. i had a blast! Jerry Nelson brought some awesome young bulls for those kids to ride. Just thought you would like to hear about the upcoming young bullfighters thatr might make it to the PBR someday, God Bless Tiny Tim.

Rob, I second Amy's comments. I was watching the PBR event in FL tonight and I was amazed to see you in the ring! "Is that really him? Yeah, look!" I guess the prayers of many faithful have helped bring God's blessing yet again. You have been a strong witness for the faith and I love to watch you...I hated to hear of your retirement, but I've been there and done that myself, and sometimes it's the right thing to do. Rob -- I watch PBR with my 77 yr-old Mother on a regular basis. Although we know the inherent dangers in what you do to protect others, it was traumatic to us when you were injured earlier this year. We have watched for news of your progress and, of course, continue to wish you well. It's Saturday night and, as I write this, we are watching PBR on OLN. I looked up to watch a ride and said to my Mom, "That looks like Rob Smets...." I was delighted to see you back in the arena. It is made even sweeter...for my Mom's birthday at the end of July, I gifted her with tickets to see you and the riders in person on October 14, 2006 in Columbus, Ohio. May the Good Lord keep you and all the riders safe until we see you, and may you enjoy the retirement that you so richly deserve...thanks for a great ride... (Maybe we can twist your arm to consider doing weekly commentary?...)
